The Platform uses artificial intelligence services to enhance your experience:
Job listing translation: Job listings may be translated into multiple languages using DeepL or Anthropic to make them accessible to users who speak different languages.
Message translation: Messages exchanged via chat may be translated using the above services to facilitate communication between users who speak different languages. Message content is processed solely for the purpose of translation and is not used to train AI models.
These services are governed by data processing agreements that prohibit the use of your data for training or any purpose beyond the translation service provided.

8.1 Partner offers (sponsored content)
In the mobile application we show offers from partner companies whose services can help you when working abroad, for example language courses, help with visas and documents, or transport. These offers are paid for by the partner and are always marked as “Sponsored”.
Which offer you see depends only on the application you use, the country of residence in your profile and the type of service the partner offers. We do not use any other profile data, your activity on the Platform or data from other apps and websites for this purpose, and we do not pass any of your data to the partner in order to show the offer. On every offer in the application you can open “Why am I seeing this?” and report the offer to our team.
Your details are passed to a partner only if you send that partner an enquiry yourself and tick the consent box on the enquiry form. In that case the partner receives: your first and last name, email address, phone number, city and country of residence, level of German, field of education and the note you wrote. The partner uses these details to answer your enquiry and acts as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.
Legal basis: showing offers by country of residence is based on our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) in financing a Platform that is free of charge for candidates; you may object at any time using the contact details in section 2. Passing your details to a partner is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect details the partner has already received; for those, please also contact the partner directly.
We keep a record of your enquiry for the duration of your account. Once your account is deleted, the partner can no longer view your details through the Platform.
9. Tracking and Analytics
9.1 Website
The following tracking technologies are used on our website (eujoby.com):
- Google Analytics, for website traffic analysis
- Meta Pixel, for advertising performance measurement
- LinkedIn Insight Tag, for conversion tracking of LinkedIn advertising campaigns
- Microsoft Advertising (UET Tag), for conversion tracking of Microsoft advertising campaigns
Your consent is obtained via our cookie banner before any non-essential tracking is activated. You may withdraw consent at any time through our cookie preference centre.
9.2 Mobile application
The mobile application uses the following tools:
- Google Analytics for Firebase (Google Ireland Ltd): statistics on how the application is used and measurement of key events (completed registration, submitted job application, generated CV)
- Meta App Events (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd): measurement of the performance of our own advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram; the application reports installs and openings of the application and the events listed above
Together with these events, the tools receive technical data about your device and, where available, the advertising identifier of your device. They do not receive your name, contact details, CV or the content of your messages.
On iOS, the advertising identifier is used only if you allow tracking when the application asks for it; you can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android, you can reset or delete the advertising ID in the settings of your device.
Legal basis: your consent where the law requires it (on iOS given through the system tracking prompt), otherwise our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) in understanding how the Platform is used and in measuring our own advertising. Google and Meta may also process this data outside the European Union, including in the USA, under the safeguards these providers have in place (EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses).
We do not use these tools to select the partner offers described in section 8.1.

Transfers of personal data between the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom are covered by the adequacy decision adopted by the European Commission in respect of the United Kingdom.
